on the one hand, I look forward
to the day when my body dissolves
into flowers and food for smaller animals
but on the other, I suspect I can help many
more things grow and find the sun while I am
still alive, while I am still capable of loving and
tending and gardening and caring and nourishing
so perhaps I should leave the house today in case
there is someone out there who needs my green thumb
